Why I Created 3s League
Growing up, basketball shaped my life and was my therapy. From winning multiple championships at Mater Dei to playing at UCLA, the game gave me confidence, lifelong friendships and life lessons I still carry today.
But after years of coaching, I kept seeing the same problem — kids were getting overlooked in 5x5 as they got older. They weren't touching the ball enough, weren't building confidence and were losing the joy of the game as the focus is only on winning.
I created 3s League to change that. I wanted to build a place where every kid gets real opportunities, develops the skills they want and most importantly — continue having fun playing basketball. Because when kids are smiling, competing and growing, that's when the game is at its best.

Blake Arnet
Former Mater Dei & UCLA Basketball Player
Blake was a 4-year varsity player at Mater Dei High School, helping the Monarchs win 4x Southern California titles, 2x CIF titles and 2x California State titles.
As senior captain, he led his team to a 35–1 record and a #5 national ranking before continuing his basketball career at UCLA as a preferred walk-on, turning down smaller Division I scholarships to stay closer to home. During his junior year, he earned a full scholarship and was honored with the UCLA Athletics Rose Gilbert Courage and Character Award.
Throughout his career, he competed with and against elite NBA players including Jrue Holiday, Klay Thompson, DeMar DeRozan, James Harden, Darren Collison, Kevin Love and others.
He is also the creator of Dunk MS (2018–Present), the world's first charity dunk show, hosted at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, which has made a lasting impact in the fight against MS in honor of his late mom, Brigitte.
He has 12+ years of youth coaching experience and a professional background in Customer Success and Account Management at early-stage startups like Hulu, Ring, and StartEngine.

3s League is Orange County's first dedicated youth 3-on-3 basketball league for boys and girls ages 9U–14U. Inspired by official FIBA 3x3 rules, we focus on fun, fast-paced play that gives every child more touches, more shots, and more opportunities to learn and grow — on and off the court.
